The Case Mini Trapper is a traditional pocket knife with a classic Trapper shape. This is a pattern that has its origins amongst hunters and poachers. This specific version has two blades: one classic clippoint and one traditional speypoint. Both blades can be used to gut caught game. When opened they are kept in place by a slipjoint. It is also enhanced with a so-called half-stop. This means that it will stop half-way through closing to make sure you can remove your fingers.

Mini Trappers are a smaller version of Case’s Trapper carrying two full-length blades, the Clip blade, and the Spey blade.The bone handle of this knife has its natural tone highlighted with the sawcut jig design on the sides that really brings out the beauty of this line

Clip Blade

• The Clip blade is extremely versatile just the thing for those everyday tasks at work or around the house. With a sharp point for piercing, the shape allows for better control of the cutting edge.

Spey Blade

• The Spey blade was a vital tool for farmers and ranchers who would use it when castrating livestock. Also a favored tool for skinning game, this all-purpose blade shape is found in many popular knife patterns such as the Trapper.

Case Tru-Sharp SS steel

• The blade is made from Case Tru-Sharp SS. This is a stainless type of steel that is similar to 420HC steel. Characterizing about this type of steel is that you can quickly sharpen it and have a razor-sharp knife.

Dark Molasses Bone handle

• The handle is made from Dark Molasses Bone. This is basically cow bone that is enhanced with a dark brown colour. Case enhanced the material with a ‘sawcut’ texture. As such it looks like it has been cut with a coarse circular saw. A truly classic handle material that radiates class and elegance. It nicely matches the Case knives.
